Refund policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
Roadbook guides are digital products: PDF files sent by email right after payment. This page explains what happens if you run into a problem with your order.
1. No refunds once the guide has been sent
A digital file can't be returned once it has been downloaded. That's why a guide is not taken back or refunded once it has been sent to you, except in the cases described in section 3.
2. Right of withdrawal (customers in the European Union)
By placing your order, you ask to receive your guide immediately, without waiting for the end of the 14-day legal withdrawal period, and you expressly waive your right of withdrawal once the file has been sent. This exception applies to digital content not supplied on a physical medium (EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m); French Consumer Code, Article L221-28, 13°).
3. File not working: we replace it or refund you
You're entitled to a solution if:
- the file won't open, is damaged or incomplete;
- you received a different guide from the one you ordered;
- you didn't receive the email with your download link (please check your spam folder);
- you paid twice for the same guide by mistake.
We'll first send you a working file or the right guide. If the problem can't be fixed, we'll refund you in full. If you bought the same guide twice, we'll refund the extra order.
4. How to make a request
Write to us through the Contact page (in the site menu) as soon as you notice the problem, and include:
- your order number;
- the email address used for the purchase;
- a description of the problem (a screenshot of the error message helps a lot).
5. Refund timing and method
When a refund is approved, it is issued within 14 days at most, to the payment method used for the purchase. How long it then takes to appear on your account depends on that payment method (PayPal or your bank).
6. Your legal rights
This policy does not limit the legal rights you have as a consumer, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content.
